Balearic Island hospitals reach patients by SMS

The hospital reminds patients of their appointments by SMS. This is the new way the healthcare system is using cell phones. Ever since this new service was put into effect. the Balearic Islands hospitals have grealty reduced waiting lists.
Marc Bonavia, Markeing Director for SITSMS, explains that once the patients information has been introduced, his company is in charge of sending users the messages in scheduled time

Gourmet Messages

The Spanish company SITSMS, that sent over 35 million messages in 2005, has just presented SMS Push. SITSMS, proposes solutions to attract customers to night clubs (customize messages by sex, age, etc) and in this way help organize exclusive parties, private birthdays, etc. It can also be used as confirmation of attendance for hospitals, healthcare centers or individual professionals, to promote sport entities, or as a communication tool for banks with their customers or the same Public Administration.

BARCELONA, 12 (EUROPA PRESS).- According to the responsible of SIT SMS, Europa Press states that the Catalan company, which promotes the massive messaging throughout the mobile phone, increases four times its business in 2005, passing from 1 to 4 millions euro. The benefits reached 658.000 euro, increasing ten times respect to 2004.

The application called SITSMS Night includes the functionality of the smart filter.
This functionality will allow the user to send different campaigns using the same database, but avoiding repetitions. It deletes from this campaign, all mobile phone’s numbers that have already received a SMS, in this way, these the numbers will be excluded from further campaigns by activating the Smart Filter.
This functionality is part of the aim of SITSMS which focuses its policy on avoiding massive communications (spam), and on offering to its customers the best possible solutions to be able to enjoy the most self tailored communication offered by the mobile channel.

The Council of the Youth of Spain (CJE), in collaboration with the Ministry of House, will present/display in press conference a pioneering tool in our country since it is the first vestibule that collects and deals with all house which they publish the city councils, the communities and the own State. This initiative of the CJE arises from the difficulty of youth to emancipate itself as well as of the complex one, it disperses and decentralized information on the aids to accede to a house.
