Motogp.com offers a new payment service via SMS employing the special platform provided by SITSMS

Barcelona, 2nd June 2006, Dorna Sports SL, owner of all commercial and audiovisual rights of the MotoGP World Championship, gave a step forward on its technological evolution and elected SITSMS, to manage the sending and the delivery of its international SMSs. SITSMS is the Spanish leader of this sector, the company, in 2005, managed more than 35 millions SMS. Dorna launched a new micro – payments service via mobile phone allowing the users to download the Premium contents from the web www.motogp.com and to take part to the concurs thanks to which the MotoGP supporters can win different prizes, such as Paddock’s free entrances to follow the competitions or the possibility to know their favorites pilots during the world championship’s events.

At the beginning of this season, Dorna created a brand new design and image for its official web site www.motogp.com, it has also improved its services. The live video application is able to show all the World Championship’s emotions in live, offering lots of different sequences, from the qualification tests to the races. This year Dorna improve the quality of its multimedia services thanks to a new screen with a quality of 450 kbps and a new format of 380×284px.

During this season, motogp.com is able to offer not only the live coverage, but also more and better action clips, lots of news and exclusive interviews. Moreover, users can visit the Live Timing area in order to know in live and without missing a detail the qualification times and all the information about the tests and the official qualifications.

“The micro – payments system created by SITSMS is very quick, it lasts about 30 seconds, reducing the percentage of payments rejected.
