La tecnológica Sitmobile operará en la India junto a un socio local

Siguiendo la estela de los grandes gigantes tecnológicos, Sitmobile ha buscado en la India nuevas oportunidades para expandir su negocio. La compañía, que desarrolla software y sistemas de comunicación a través de SMS, se ha aliado con un socio local para tener un laboratorio en Bangalore.

La expansión internacional ha tenido un papel preponderante en la mente de los dos fundadores de Sitmobile, compañía especializada en desarrollar software y sistemas de comunicación para empresas a través de SMS. La firma, que dio sus primeros pasos en 2001, de la mano de Marc Bonavia y Enric Solé como Sitsms, ha potenciado su salto al exterior con la puesta en marcha de un laboratorio en la Meca tecnológica de la India, la ciudad de Bangalore. Para ello, han establecido una joint venture junto a una empresa local, que prefieren por el momento, mantener en el anonimato.

Barcelona, 27 of March of 2007. – The Metropolitan Institut of Taxi (IMT) has started up a new system of communication with the taxi drivers of the metropolitan area of Barcelona based on the movable telephony and the short messages SMS, implanted by SITmobile, the company leader in shipment of SMS in Spain. For this reason the IMT has extended an invitation to participate in this initiative to FIRA of BARCELONA, to the Port of Barcelona, l´ Auditori i to the BSM, managing municipal company of the great spaces of the city (Fòrum, Palau Sant Jordi, etc.). The objective is that the taxi driver can receive from customized form, immediate and effective the information necessary in its moving body to cover the demand of taxis generated in a certain moment in any point of the city. The messages that will receive the taxi drivers always will be transmitted and managed by the Institut Metropolità of Taxi and Iran directed to the taxi drivers who are potentially working that day and hour of that certain event. So com has explained Marc Bonavia, marketing director of SITmobile, “the segmentation of the data base that allows our system, means that the messages can be sent to lists established according to parameters marked by the IMT. In this way the SMS arrives at that must arrive”.   • SITmobile´s new site (www.sitmobile.com) responds to the increasing response of its different services.

Barcelona, March, 15th, 2007.- Users that visit SITmobile´s website (www.sitmobile.com) can have Access to the website in catalán which is available beginning this week. At the time, the website can be found in Spanish and English.
SITmobile changed its website after a name change from SITsms to SITmobile during the month of February. This name change was due to the addition of new communication channels that include the actual mobile phone and not just the actual message sending. The new site shows the new company strategy and the services it now offers: Bluetooth Technology, MMS, Voice, E-mail, Wap and 3G, without loosing site to the SMS. Its objective continues to be the same: develop software, its own gateway and mobile marketing
