This 22@Update Breakfast’s edition, that will take place on Thrusday February 19 in the Me Barcelona Hotel, will be focus on “India: business opportunities and emerging talent” and the main participants will be the Indian Institute of Science, Sitmobile company and the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce.

The February 22@Update Breakfast will focus on the business and talent opportunities that can be found in India. Our guest speaker, Dr. Parameshwar P.Iyer, associated president and head of research at the Indian Institute of Science, will explain the business opportunities India can offer and some practical recommendations on how to work successfully in this country. Enric Solé and Marc Bonavia, from Sitmobile, will be our Innovators of the Month. They will tell about their experience in India: looking for the best talent, the difficulties of bringing this talent in line with the company’s objectives and overcoming communication problems that stem from the physical and cultural distance.

SitMobile presents SMS with Butler

More than 9.000 euros is the cost for a 9 square meters in the Mobile World Congress. SitMobile goes for the fourth year. The company, founded in 2001 by Marc Bonavia and Enric Solé from Barcelona, has 52 employees in their ofices at Barcelona, Madrid, Santiago de Chile and Kochi (India), where they have a software factory. SitMobile has developed a management software for massive SMS sending as a one to one marketing tool for enterprises. In the Mobile World Congress will present Sthe concept SMS with Butler, a non-intrusive anticipatory service of the needs of the user via SMS. Proyected SitMobile group gross revneue for 2009 is 8 milion euros.
