Text messages successfuly help Marchamalo County

SMS has shown its importance again. It was used to let residents know that running water would be cut for a few hours due to certain works that had to be done in the city. The water cut was expected to take place last wednesday and residents were advised by means of several text message reminders. Yesterday afternoon, the last message was sent, to inform residents of the work being done in the highway connecting Marchamalo with Guadalajara, for the purpose of creating a bridge over the railways.

Starting this week residents of Marchamalo County will be able to apply for free, to the new SMS messaging system. The city of Marchamelo would like to offer this service to all registered residents. This will allow everyone enrolled to learn of all City notifications, cultural or sport activities, etc.
