The Great Wall is India

If there is a potential sector in India, this is data technology. Each year, over 800.000 engineers and computer technology students graduate from this country. Dozens of companies have their headquarters in India, to take advantage of the hindu potential and their accesible salaries. Their talent and lower salaries have drawn many technology companies to India. IBM has 53.000 employees based in the country, the second largest after the US.
But the market not only attracts big companies. Smaller and médium size technology companies have seen an open window to walk in. This is the case with Sit Mobile, specialized in development of mobile software. SitMobile opened an office in Bangalore, the hindu Silicon Valley a few years ago. “We are thinking no only in developing, but also in offering all the international support we can from India”, explains Enric Solé, company’s CEO.
