Marc Bonavia from SitMobile presents the case of “SMS & Proximity Marketing” at the Government.
The objective of the workshop is to learn from successful experiences in designing, developing and deploying innovative eGovernment services for municipalities based on mobile phones.

A number of relevant cases, all of them based on real experiences in the design and setting-up of services, will be presented to become the basis of the discussion and exchange of experiences. However, the workshop is organised to give all participants an opportunity to present their cases, projects and initiatives.

The workshop is addressed to practitioners involved in the conceptualisation, design, development, testing and operations of public municipalities services and eGovernment solutions over mobile phones. Practitioners may hold positions such as project management, technical coordination, senior technicians and administrators and may come from the public administrations, industry or academia.

The seminar is promoted by the ICiNG (FP6) and P2P Mayor Events (e-TEN) consortiums and is open to other projects and initiatives
